Visiting season 2016
7 June – 4 July
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 am – 5 pm
Bjørsjølia is an old property. The mountain farm was run till the 1950s or 60s, and on the farm you may read a presentation of the dairymaids and herdsmen from here since 1905.
For those who wish to take in the area and a bit of excersize, there is a marked path leading you uphill to get a good look at the farm and the surrounding scenery.
Here we hold cows, calves, sheep, lamb, horses and dogs. You are welcome to join us in feeding and milking the animals.
An ecological enterprise
Bjørsjølia is a fully ecological enterprise and may offer Debio-approved ecological milk. You are welcome to read more about the Krabseth family and their enterprise on the following links; Naturkjøtt BA and Inn på tunet Trøndelag BA.
We serve traditional foods such as ‘skjeiblakak’ with ecological sour-cream and gum. On Saturdays we also serve sour-cream porrige. For gruop orders, pleace call in advance.
Rent a boat or go swimming
The area offers good fishing trips and lovely spots for swimming. You may rent a boat and fishing gear on your own accord at the premises.
From Bjørsjølia we recommend the marked nature trail.
Toraderan are playing accordion on Bjørsjølia Saturday 11 June.
